Written by Josh Lieb, illustrated by Kevin Cornell

It’s a dark and stormy night when you enter a mysterious castle. Melvin the magician greets you with an all-important question: Would you rather…eat a pizza or hug a tarantula? Think carefully, because Melvin’s castle is full of surprises. Time travel? Shape-shifting? Dragons? Only one thing’s for sure: the power is in your hands. And so is–wait, is that the tarantula?! NEVER choose the tarantula!

This hilarious, interactive story will draw in even the most reluctant readers with its wacky twists and turns, demanding to be reread again and again to explore every fantastical possibility.
